Android is without a doubt one of the most popular operating systems for smart phones nowadays, and as a result there are hundreds of devices out there running it. This means that there are some poor smartphones out there which run the operating system. In this article we are going to take a look at the best smartphones out there which run Android. Stick to one of these five and you won’t go wrong.

Samsung Galaxy S3

This is the best-selling Android smartphone ever. This doesn’t necessarily mean that it is good of course, but, the Samsung Galaxy S3 really is. It rocks a fantastic display, a lot of powerful hardware and is without a doubt one of the most powerful smartphones in existence at the time of writing. At the moment it only has Ice Cream Sandwich as its operating system, but that is predicted to change to Jelly Bean at some point in October, which means that it can only get better as a device. I won’t delve into the specs of this, but any ‘hardware buffs’ should go check them out. Grab a tissue though. You will need something to mop up the drool.

HTC One X +

This is one seriously sexy smartphone. In fact, it is one of the sexiest that I have ever laid my eyes upon. The One X + is an upgrade of the previous smartphone from HTC. It still looks as great, but it has a bit more behind it. This means the inclusion of a Tegra 3 Chip, as well as one of the most beautiful display screens you will ever see.  Jelly Bean comes preinstalled with this, and that means you can experience the best Android experience as soon as possible. To cap it off, you have a wonderful 64GB of storage space to play about with. What’s not to love?

Motorola Droid RAZR HD

As you might expect, a company that is owned by Google is likely to make the best use of the Android Operating system. The RAZR HD is an upgrade of the RAZR, and it is a pretty decent phone, and like everything that Motorola does, it is unique. It comes loaded with Ice Cream Sandwich, which whilst it isn’t the latest version of the OS, it is still passable. The processor is the Snapdragon S4, which isn’t the most powerful, but it certainly gets the job done. You will most likely be blown away by the beautiful 4.7 Inch Super AMOLED screen. In fact if you aren’t, I do urge you to get glasses.

Samsung Galaxy Note 2

This phone is a crossover between a tablet and a phone, a phablet so to speak. It has a beautiful 5.5 inch Super AMOLED HD screen and this is coupled with 2GB RAM and a 1.6GHz processor, which means that underneath that sexy exterior is a lot of power. It may be a little big in size for some people however.

LG Optimus G

LG isn’t a company that we have heard too much about in recent years, particularly on the Android Market. However, they look to be gearing up to release one of the best android devices of 2012. This includes a fantastic 4.7 inch true HD screen, a 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 Processor, 2 GB of RAM and Ice Cream sandwich. Recent indications suggest that the power in this device is going to blow every other one of the water. I for one cannot wait to see it. You should be excited too….really excited.
