Cameras from Sony NEXUS series were called UCIL or Ultra-Compact Interchangeable Lens. They are sites with the DSLR APS-C sensor, extracted from the eyepiece optical sensor and a mirror. The body of the apparatus has become so very thin, and in the present case we are talking of the smaller and lighter device with sensor DSLR. Sony NEXUS-C3 along with 16 mm pancake lens with F2.8 can stand alongside a compact and will go down in a pocket.
The device is behind the lens a sensor Exmor of 16.2 MP improved, allowing the ISO values between 100 and 12,800. Filming is limited to the resolution of 1280×720 with 30 fps. Unfortunately the compression of AVCHD is not included, the clips to be saved on the card in the MPEG-4 format with bitrate of 6 or 9 Mbps. NEXUS on the back of the Sony-C3 we find the same gorgeous folding screen of 3 “that I’ve met at NEXUS-3. Buttons near the screen are now elongated, and the wheel and the button for filming were kept.
With a body weight of only 225 g’s, with the battery and the included card, Sony NEX-C3 will not be very well balanced in hand to equip with the kit 18-55 mm objective. Among the new accessories for NEX series, launched with the new machine are a macro lens with F3.5 30mm and a significantly more powerful flash. Sony NEX-C3 will be available in August, prices of kits with 16mm lens and the 18-55 mm will be approximately € 600 and € 650 respectively.
