Next version of android will be named Ice Cream Sandwich and this name is official, but version after that version will probably be named Jelly Bean. All versions so far were named by name of candies. First six android versions were called Cupcake, Donut, Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread and Honeycomb. Seventh generation of android OS will be called Ice Cream Sandwich. After that will probably be named Jelly Bean, but for now this is just a rumor. For now, we are all expecting a new Ice Cream Sandwich android OS which will probably be more powerful, running faster on all android phones, especially on 4g android phones.
