Congratulations, the decision to get meeting software in your business is probably going to be one of the best decisions you have ever made. However, the decision doesn’t just end there. You need to track down a great piece of meeting software that you can use for your company which is not only cost effective, but easy to use. In this article I am going to cover what I feel are five of the simplest products to use for your company, and it would make sense to check these out.

Adobe Connect

Adobe are well known for being top players in the software market, so when they make a product you know it is going to be good. Their meeting software comes in two flavours, free and paid for. At first glance this is perhaps one of the simplest meeting systems to use, and it is fully featured as well. It works on all operating systems too, and that makes  it incredibly easy to integrate with your company. This piece of software should certainly be worth a look! They have sublime support as well, as with all Adobe products.

Microsoft Live Meeting

This is another piece of software which is a complete breeze to use. It is also made by one of the largest software and hardware companies in the world, so they know how to do it right. It packs as much punch as Adobe Connect, and is available for use on all operating systems. The control panel is slightly different though, so play around with each of the free trials and see which one you ‘like’ the most.

Citrix GoToMeeting

This piece of software is certainly worth a mention. Unlike the other product that Citrix offer, which is designed for capacity, GoToMeeting is designed for ease of use. Even the most novice computer will be able to grasp quite quickly how to do everything they need to do with GoToMeeting, the price isn’t that expensive either. If you are looking for something that is easy to use, but don’t care too much about how many people you can have involved in the ‘meeting’, then this is something that you should certainly look at. They offer a free trial, so have a play about with the software and see how much you like it!

Fuze Meeting Pro

One of the nicest things about this bit of software is that it really capitalizes on what makes video conferencing great….the ability to have meetings wherever you like. It has an apple application, which means you can host meetings on the go from your cell phone or your iPad, none of the other pieces of software do this. So if you want something that emphasises true portability, then you absolutely need Fuze Meeting Pro.

Skype

Skype is probably better known for being a ‘personal’ chat program. However, there is so much more to this piece of software. If you purchase the premium subscription then you will be able to use the video conferencing capabilities. It is incredibly easy to use as well, after all, the majority of us are already familiar with how Skype works.
