Those who like to customize their Android operating system will be pleased to learn that famed developer Cyanogen now offers to download a new version of CyanogenMod, 7.1 RC. This is the first official release for the new 7.1 CM that brings Android 2.3.4 on no less than 44 of Android terminals.
Among the models supported include the Samsung Galaxy S, 2 x LG Optimus, Nexus, HTC’s Desire or HTC Incredible s. so if you are among those disappointed by the expectation of Gingerbread on HTC Desire, you can call on this workaround to get OS sooner. If you are a user, you won’t find CyanogenMod too many changes in this version, but if you want a stable software, then CM 7.1 is the answer.
