The folks at Asus innovate continuously, the last product presented during Computex 2011 taking place in Taipei, the concept of PADfone, a hybrid Tablet PC and smartphone, both parts.
Asus PADfone is a new gadget ones combine a Tablet PC with a smartphone, and both are detachable. Basically, the Tablet PC can be used as a Dock Station for telephone, or can be used separately. The device will run the Android operating system, apparently, variant of Ice Cream Sandwich, the interface is optimized for both dimensions of the screens.
Asus has not provided any official information about the technical specs of PADfone, but some leaked talk about a multitouch display of 10.1 inches for Tablet PC, namely one WVGA 4.3 inch for the smartphone. Unfortunately, have not even announced an approximate date of launch.
