Shortly after detailing his Windows Phone Mango, here’s the first smartphone with this OS, which makes its appearance in the Computex 2011. The Acer W4 with Windows Phone Mango was one of the featured stars of the show.
The first smartphone with Windows Phone Mango on board uses a display touch of 3.6 inches, with resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, a Qualcomm 1 GHz MSM8255 and up to 8 GB internal memory. Its facilities include a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and DLNA support. Nothing new so far, if not put to account for new functions of the operating system.
In chapter connectivity, Acer W4 supports Bluetooth 2.1, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and 3 g, HSPA 850/1900 variants and HSPA 900/2100. In terms of design, the Acer W4 has a curved part of the rear and front part of the vaguely reminiscent of Dell Venue Pro and Samsung Omnia 7.
