Acer Aspire Iconia A100 from Acer is a tablet with a 7-inch screen, 8 GB available for storage and 512 MB RAM. Even if it is built around the same couple of NVIDIA Tegra 2 Android 3.0 and Honeycomb, like many other models who have appeared in the future it will be extremely close, the new Acer product has all chances to be cheaper tablet of new generation with decent specs.
At 300 pounds it, the only compromise you make, besides the 8 GB storage space, will be the lack of 3G connectivity.
