Acer Allegro – the first smartphone with Windows Phone 7

Acer has launched its first smartphone with the Windows Phone operating system 7.5.

Within the mainstream range of smart phones, Acer Allegro can be purchased beginning mid next week for a price of 299 euros recommended.

We receive the amount paid for a smartphone with a thickness of 13 mm and weighs 126 g, which offers a 3.6 inch screen with resolution 800 x 480 pixels.

Hardware configuration includes a single-core processor at 1 GHz, 8 GB internal memory and a camera with LED Flash, able to get pictures to 5 MP resolution. List of facilities includes a receiver, A-GPS connectivity Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1, along with features such as sensors for ambient light, accelerometer for auto-rotate and digital compass.

Acer Allegro is powered by a rechargeable Li-ion 1300 mAh capacity, that promises a talk time of up to 6 hours.

For starters, Acer Allegro will be available in France, in versions with black or white housing.
